Join us for the return of the St. LauRUNtius Fishtown 5K, benefiting the St. Laurentius School. This fun race showcases the wonderful Fishtown neighborhood and brings the community together. There is a 5K and 1 mile option, with a shared start/finish line at the Holy Name of Jesus church on Gaul Street.

5K participants will be officially chip-timed and all participants will receive a t-shirt and medal commemorating the day. A finish line festival will feature Yards Beer, music, and more! Advance packet pick-up will be available on Friday April 24th, or you can also pick up your items on race day beginning at 8:00am at the church.

The St. LauRUNtius Fishtown 5k raises monies to fund:

• ensure Scholarships for students, transfer students and families
• create a new SLS STEM Lab and the Science program
• Update the SLS Creative Arts Center
• add Science, Art and after school programming
• make incremental building repairs and upgrades to the 150+ year old school building
• to continue to share the SLS story and spirit

Our Saint Laurentius School community feels energized!  With the help of the Saint Laurentius School Board, our principal Mrs. Concetta Quinn, pastor Fr. Al Bradley and volunteers transformed an old space into what will be the St. Laurentius Creative Arts Center.  Combined with the SLS STEM Lab our students learn in spaces, and with teachers, that make lessons come alive. 

Saint Laurentius School enhances our curriculum and the students’ learning experience whenever possible. We provide a structured environment with genuine individual attention for every student. Our unique, family-oriented community encourages students to learn and to strive toward excellence while remaining grounded in faith and values.  SLS guides students to find ways to help others and engage in service to our community.

Families pay tuition, but like every independent school, tuition does not cover the true cost to educate a student.   With this in mind, we ask that you consider participating in Saint LauRUNtius Fishtown 5K run on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Your support will make an immediate impact on our Saint Laurentius School community.

Thanks to everyone who ran yesterday. Our race was a big success and we raised a lot of money for St. Laurentius School. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Online registration is now closed. Runners can still register on site the day of the race starting at 8am at Holy Name of Jesus Church (Berks and Gaul St.). On site registration is $35.

The 8th Annual St. LauRUNtius 5K will be held on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 10:00am.  Registration will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 701 Gaul Street starting at 8am.

Online registration is now open.  Register by March 22nd to receive a discount!
